Position Description
You will be part of a growing team to develop a cloud based SAAS application.
As an applicant you should be well versed in multiple aspects of PHP Web Development techniques. Top candidates will have a high level of experience in OOPHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML and CSS.
This is an in-house full time position in La Jolla, California.
Required
- B.S. in Computer Science with 2+ years of industry experience or equivalent experience regardless of education.
- Advanced in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Mid-Advanced PHP experience
- Excellent debugging and testing skills, and cross-browser compatibility knowledge
- MySQL experience
Highly Desirable
- Advanced knowledge of jQuery or similar JS framework
- Experience with AJAX, XML, JSON and Web Services
- Agile Team experience
- Experience with OO PHP MVC/HMVC frameworks (Kohana 3.0+ preferred)
- Experience integrating social networking products (FB Connect, twitter API) is a plus

LAMP Developer/Administrator
Position Description
We are looking for a well rounded LAMP developer and/or administrator with 3-5 years of on the job experience. This position’s primary focus will be PHP OOP & MySQL development for a multi-tier HMVC based SAAS application. Additional responsibilities may include Linux, AWS, SVN, MySQL, Continuous Integration and deployment administration. Applicants with experience implementing NoSQL solutions will also be highly considered for the position.
This is an in-house full time position in La Jolla, California.
Required
- 3-5 years of industry in LAMP development and administration
- Expert level with MySQL (schema design, query optimization, triggers, stored procedures, etc…)
- Expert level OO PHP5, XML, JSON, JavaScript, and Web Services
- Experience with hosted/cloud based servers and architectures (preferably AWS)
- Strong Linux and shell scripting experience
- Strong SVN and/or GIT experience
- CI Deployment experience using ANT builder, Jenkins CI, Phing or similar
Highly Desirable
- Java development and JBoss server
- Jira project management software
- Agile team experience
- Experience with PHP MVC/HMVC frameworks (Kohana preferred)
- NoSQL (CouchDB, MongoDB, Riak, Cassandra, etc) experience are pluses
- Experience with online payment processing
- Experience with PHPDoc and PHP Unit-Testing frameworks
